Renewed Strength

The Renewed Strength was born from one of the most painful and defining moments of my life — the loss of my daughter, Lydia.

After Lydia passed, I remember how difficult it was… the shock, the silence, and the rude awakening that the world doesn’t stop for you to grieve. While we were still numb with pain, we had to immediately begin planning funeral services — something no parent should ever have to do.

If it wasn’t for the support that God surrounded me with, I honestly don’t know how I would have made it. Even the smallest acts — meals, prayers, being present — carried me through that dark season.

Now, through this foundation, I’m committed to carrying others.

No grieving parent should have to walk through loss alone.

This ministry exists to bring compassion, dignity, and divine comfort to families who have lost a child — from the moment grief hits and in the days that follow.

Through partnerships with hospitals, churches, and community organizations, we’re notified when a child has passed. We respond with immediate and ongoing care — practical and spiritual — to help families feel surrounded, supported, and seen.

  Thoughtfully curated kits for both mothers and fathers, which may include journals, scripture cards, candles, aromatherapy, devotionals, and wellness items to bring peace in the midst of pain
• 💜 Hot Meals for the Family
  Delivered during the early days of grief — because cooking is the last thing any grieving family should have to think about
• 💜 Follow-Up Support
  We continue to walk with families in the days and weeks after the loss, offering check-ins, prayer, resources, and the reminder that they are not forgotten
