Biography
Teri Tith, Creator of Purple Women™, was born in Los Angeles, California and spent her formative years in Santa Barbara where she played a lot of beach volleyball. She landed an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Houston in Texas but alas, the Golden State beckoned her return so she completed her B.A. in Journalism at the California State University at Long Beach. She has worn many hats in the world of work, primarily in the fields of public relations and fundraising. Writing has always been a great passion. Teri has traveled to Tahiti, England, Amsterdam, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Malaysia, Thailand, Bermuda and Japan in that order, and knows how to say "check please" (cheque if you’re Canadian) in five different languages. She currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband Tom.
Five things you should know about Teri:
1. She likes to make people smile and is a generous tipper – really.
2. Her secret fantasy is to be a size 8 again and wear Prada as she
strolls up to the bar in some swank hotel to order her preferred cocktail
while flipping her hair:
"Black Label on the rocks and make it a double, ice on
the side."
3. She doesn't like ice wine.
4. "No children and none are planned, so stop asking! Can't
you find something else to talk about?" (I've never really
said this…but I always feel cornered by the
Question.)
5. She loves her two kitties.
